Information for Vendors

FBC performs 403(b) compliance services for many of its member districts together with its third party administrator National Benefit Services, LLC (NBS).

FBC Vendor Approval Requirements

1. Vendor must be registered with the CalSTRS database 403bCompare.com.

2. Vendor must enter into a 403(b) Provider / Information Sharing Agreement National

    Benefit Services, LLC (NBS).

Vendors that enter into the FBC's 403(b) Provider / Information Sharing Agreement with NBS become "approved vendors".  Only approved vendors may receive transfers or exchanges of plan 403(b) amounts (subject to the terms of the Agreement).  A list of approved vendors may be found here.

The compliance monitoring fee for the program is $2.00 per contributing participant each month.  This fee is divided among vendors for participants who contribute to more than one vendor.  This compliance monitoring fee is invoiced to vendors on a monthly basis.
