Information for Vendors

FBC performs 403(b) compliance services for many of its member districts together with its third party administrator National Benefit Services, LLC (NBS).

FBC Vendor Approval Requirements

1. Vendor must be registered with the CalSTRS database 403bCompare.com.

2. Vendor must enter into a 403(b) Provider / Information Sharing Agreement with FBC's third party administrator, National Benefit Services, LLC (NBS).  Components of the NBS ISA packet may be downloaded below.

Vendors that enter into the 403(b) Provider / Information Sharing Agreement with NBS become "transfer eligible".  Only transfer eligible vendors may receive transfers or exchanges of plan 403(b) amounts (subject to the terms of the Agreement).  A list of transfer eligible vendors may be found under the Approved Vendors link.

FBC has authorized NBS to assess a $3.00 fee to vendors per contributing participant per month (on a pro rata basis for participants who contribute to multiple vendors).  The fee will be effective the month following the execution of the Agreement.
